Traveler's Guide Album Cover

Releasing March 1, 2026

There's a world I visit when I close my eyes and let the music take over. A parallel dimension where the chaos of everyday life dissolves into something gentler, where people don't just listen to jazz β€” they live it, breathe it, share it like a universal language.

When I started working on Traveler's Guide, I realized I wasn't just creating an album. I was documenting my travels through this other world β€” my world. A peaceful realm where strangers become collaborators, where a nod and a smile can spark an improvisation, where kindness and generosity aren't exceptions but the rhythm of daily life.

This album is a collection of twelve musical postcards from that dimension. Each track captures a moment, a place, an encounter with the beautiful souls who jazz with me there.

Why "Traveler's Guide"?

In this parallel world I inhabit, music isn't performed β€” it's shared. I walk down streets where the girl from Italy sits at a cafΓ© humming melodies that become harmonies when I join in. I wander through bazaars along the Silk Road where merchants don't just sell spices, they trade riffs and rhythms. When it rains, people don't run for cover β€” they dance, finding happiness in the downpour.

The title came to me during one of those moments when I was somewhere between Montreal and this other dimension, my studio transformed into a portal. I realized this music had become a traveler's guide, but not the kind that shows you tourist attractions. It's a guide to accessing your own parallel world β€” that peaceful place inside where people are kind, where generosity flows freely, where everyone speaks the language of groove.

Five of these tracks you might already know. They're places I've visited before, familiar corners of this world I keep returning to. But seven are brand new territories, discoveries from recent journeys. Together, they create a map to somewhere both familiar and utterly new.

Journeys Through the Peaceful Dimension

Let me take you through the places I've traveled, the people I've met.

Silk Road opens the portal. Ancient routes where traders didn't just exchange goods β€” they exchanged souls. In this world, the Silk Road never ended. It's still alive, still pulsing with the footsteps of wanderers who carry melodies instead of merchandise.

Girl From Italy I met her in a piazza that exists somewhere between Rome and my imagination. She was singing to the pigeons, and when I sat down with my bass, she didn't stop.

Smooth No1 is the train ride between destinations. In my world, trains glide silent and smooth, and passengers don't scroll their phones β€” they improvise together.

Take Five Get One Five musicians walk in, but the music creates a sixth presence. Electronic textures blend with live grooves.

Be Blues is the quiet corner where I sit when I need to feel something deeper. It's a place of honesty where sadness isn't avoided but honored.

Endless Rope describes the meditation halls where monks and musicians are the same people. They pull on invisible ropes that connect all consciousness.

Cultural Shock is that first step through the portal. Ninety-nine seconds of disorientation when you realize sound becomes tangible.

Playful Comebacks happens in the parks where children and elders play music together without self-consciousness.

Thirsty Arab (Tales of Scheherazade) I met a merchant wandering the dunes who was parched not for water but for someone to hear his tales.

Stuck In The Past is the museum where I sometimes get trapped. This track is me learning to visit without staying.

Override is the moment of breaking through walls built by doubt. The world responds by opening wider.

Happy Rain Precipitation as celebration. People gather in the streets, dancing, letting the water become part of the rhythm.

How I Travel Between Worlds

People ask me how I create music. The truth is, I don't create it β€” I discover it. My studio in Montreal becomes a threshold, and when the bass starts humming, I slip through.

An Invitation to Travel
